As I commented a couple of posts ago, my daughter is a good wisher. She has the undeniable blind faith of youth, a passion for life unchallenged by the doubts of adult reality. I absolutely love, admire, envy, respect, and want, want, want to possess (??repossess??) that quality. Pretend with me, just for a little while, that you could make any wish, any wish you want to make with no boundaries and no grown up doubts. What wish would you make?Make that wish, place it in a bottle, and flail it into the body of water of your choice. Or you could simply add your wish here. Go ahead... tell us your wish.

let's see. for what would i wish? i won't waste my wish on world peace. so a selfish wish: i want to travel. travel to new zealand in winter and scotland in summer, then italy and india and china and all of the islands of the pacific. i want to take years doing this, years living with a different people, so i get to know them and their customs and their friendship.
so i'll place that in a bottle, and flail it... well, the nearest body of water is the toilet. so in the biddy it will go.
